Yamaha’s 10-Year Warranty Covers FZ Series, MT-15, R15; MT-03 and R3 Excluded

Auto News: Yamaha India has launched a new big offer in India, celebrating 40 -year sales success in the Asian subcontinent. The company has introduced a 10 -year Extendant Warranty Scheme on its premium motorcycle and scooter models, which will provide relieved security and satisfaction to the customers.

What will be found in 10 years of extended warranty?

Under this scheme, customers will get an additional 8 -year expanded warranty in addition to the 2 -year standard warranty. This extended warranty ensures safety to Yamaha's vehicle engine, electronic fuel injection system, and other important electrical components. Its purpose is to give customers an opportunity to enjoy their vehicle without any concern.

Which vehicles are applicable to this scheme?

This 10 -year warranty plan will apply to some popular scooters and motorcycle models of Yamaha.

• Scooter Models: Fascino 125 FI, Rayzr Fi, Aerox 155 Version S - These will get coverage up to 1 lakh kilometers.
• Motorcycle Models: Motorcycle models include FZ series, MT-15 and R15, on which warranties will be provided with coverage up to 1.25 lakh kilometers. At the same time, MT-03 and R3 models do not come under the purview of this warranty scheme. 

Note that MT-03 and R3 models are not included in this warranty scheme.

Special thing: Benefits of warranty transfer

One of the major features of this scheme is that the other owner of the extended warranty vehicle can also be transferred. That is, if a customer sells a warranty vehicle, the new owner will also be able to take full advantage of this warranty. In addition, even after the warranty period is over, customers can increase this extended warranty by paying a nominal fee.
